Are you looking to enjoy some time with
like-minded people in a warm & inviting setting?

Participating in one of our Social Programs will give you the opportunity to interact with new people and maybe even try something new. Social interaction is an important aspect of everyone’s life, you’re never too old to make new friends and have a good time!

You don’t need to be eligible for a home care package to take advantage of our social programs. Anyone over the age of 65 is very welcome. And as we are Italian, you will never ever go hungry!

Tempo Mio is My Time

Tempo Mio is ideal if you are living at home and are keen to maintain an active social life, further your skills or try something new. Discussion groups, exercise classes and social outings are all part of the program. If you choose to join our Tempo Mio social program you can also take advantage of our newly developed gym facilities where you will be supported by one of our allied health staff to help maintain or increase fitness levels.

Currently available Wednesday and Friday 9:30am – 3:30pm, Tempo Mio assists people to maintain and enhance their wellbeing, prevent social isolation and maintain independence.

Am I eligible?

Not currently receiving services from Saint Hilarion? That’s ok. You are always welcome to join our Social Programs even if you haven’t completed a My Aged Care application. For those of you who prefer not to drive, or just fancy being chauffeured, we also offer transport to and from our Social Programs.

To ensure that we are able to cater for everyone we do have some basic eligibility requirements. Please ring us to find out more.

How much does it cost?

Costs of our social programs are kept to a minimum so that everyone can enjoy the cultural experience and connection within their community. If you are receiving government funding in the form of a Home Care package this may cover some of the costs. Give our friendly team a call and we can discuss the best option for you.

Do I need to be a resident to participate in the social programs?

No, you do not need to be a resident of Saint Hilarion or receive our home care to be able to get involved in our Tempo Mio Social Program.

How can I get my loved one involved in a social program?

You’re welcome to contact us on behalf of a loved one about our social programs, we can then share with you a timetable and help answer any questions you or your loved one may have. This may be easing any concerns your loved one has about participating.
